Capcom revealed the next wave of fighters joining Street Fighter 6 during Summer Game Fest, and the Year 4 lineup includes both new original characters and a major crossover. Yasmine, Arjun, and Bosch will debut as fresh additions to the roster, while Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII brings a familiar face from another gaming franchise to the fighting ring.

This announcement comes as the fighting game continues its multi-year character roadmap. Year 3 saw the addition of Sagat (August 2025), C. Viper (October 2025), Alex (March 2026), and Ingrid (May 2026), keeping the community engaged with regular new content since the game's June 2023 launch.

Street Fighter 6 has maintained strong platform support across PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2, which received the game at the console's June 2025 launch. The Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition also debuted around that same time, giving newer players a more focused starting point with the game's growing roster.

The inclusion of Tifa marks another successful collaboration for the series, following Street Fighter 6's pattern of bringing in recognizable characters from other franchises. These crossover additions help attract fans beyond the core fighting game audience while giving long-time players fresh mechanics and playstyles to learn.

With Year 4 now confirmed and three additional characters to come after the initial reveal, Capcom continues to support Street Fighter 6 as a living game. This extended roadmap keeps the competitive scene active and gives casual players regular reasons to return to the ring.

Exact release dates for the Year 4 characters haven't been announced yet, but based on Year 3's schedule, fans can expect staggered rollouts throughout the year ahead.
