Fans of The Vampire Dies in No Time will get another chance to see the manga brought to life on stage this fall. The stage play adaptation is heading back to Tokyo's Theater H for a limited revival run from November 20-29.

Director and writer Daiki Murakami is returning to helm the production, reprising his roles from the original 2023 show at The Galaxy Theatre. He'll handle the script, direction, and lyrics once again, with composer Shū Kanematsu providing the music.

The core cast is also back, including Ikkei Yamamoto as Draluc, the vampire protagonist, and Hiroki Suzuki as Ronald, the vampire hunter. The ensemble includes returning performers like Arisa Sonohara, Shin Nikaidō, and Teruma, with the full cast list available on the play's official website.

Itaru Bonnoki's The Vampire Dies in No Time manga began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Champion back in June 2015 and has since grown into a sprawling series with 26 compiled volumes. The manga took several breaks in recent years, some related to Bonnoki's health. In October 2023, the creator revealed he had been diagnosed with ossification of the ligamentum flavum (OLF), a spinal condition causing persistent back pain. Despite undergoing treatment, Bonnoki has continued working on the series.

The property has already found success beyond print. An anime adaptation premiered in October 2021 with a 12-episode first season, followed by a second season in January 2023. Both seasons are currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which also streamed the series as it aired in Japan through Funimation.

With the manga still ongoing and the anime established on streaming platforms, this stage play revival shows the franchise's continued popularity across different media formats.
