The Vermilion Mask Anime Returns for Part 2 in April 2027
The Vermilion Mask anime will debut its second part in April 2027 on Yomiuri TV and NTV, continuing the story of Peru, a mask maker seeking redemption after a cursed artifact drives him to tragedy.

The Vermilion Mask anime is splitting into two parts, with the first premiering October 10 on Yomiuri TV and NTV at 5:30 p.m. JST. The second part arrives in April 2027 on the same channels and time slot. Crunchyroll will stream both parts as they air.
Based on Dr. Poro and Nabana Naba's manga, the story follows Peru d'Arrest, a young apprentice mask maker who loses control after being influenced by a cursed mask, killing his master and comrades in a tragic outburst. Wracked with guilt, Peru embarks on a journey to destroy the legendary masks his master once crafted, encountering unlikely allies and deadly enemies along the way.
The voice cast includes Taihi Kimura as Peru, Yūki Yamamoto as Sonarue Maywood, Kazuki Ura as Mok Sharib, and Junya Enoki as Zent, among others. Yuya Tegoshi, vocalist of rock band T.N.T, will voice a character in the 12th episode, which marks the finale of the first part.
Tetsuaki Watanabe (BLUELOCK season 1) directs the anime at 100Studio, with Daisuke Ōhigashi (Fate/strange Fake) handling series composition and Hisashi Higashijima (Mashle: Magic and Muscles) designing characters. MAN WITH A MISSION performs the opening theme "Firestarter," while yutori handles the ending theme "Koe."
The manga debuted in Young King Ours magazine in February 2021. Orange's emaqi e-bookstore platform publishes it in English.
