TrySail has been tapped to perform the ending theme for the July 2026 anime adaptation of From Overshadowed to Overpowered (Rakudai Kenja no Gakuin Musō: Nidome no Tensei). The ending song, titled "Dōkei" (Aspiration), was written and arranged by musician sabio, who also provided the lyrics. The track drops as TrySail's 18th single on August 5.

The anime adapts Kentarou's manga, which itself is based on Arata Shiraishi's light novel series. The story follows Ephtal, a reincarnated human from modern Earth who devotes himself to mastering magic in a new world. Despite his initial talentless struggles, he dies and reincarnates 400 years later with his knowledge and power intact, setting out to reach the peak of magical ability.

The voice cast includes Shūichirō Umeda as Ephtal, alongside Reo Osanai, Haruka Shiraishi, Hiroki Tōchi, Ayaka Fukuhara, Emiri Katō, and Daisuke Hirakawa in supporting roles. Hisashi Ishii (known for Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear and I'm Quitting Heroing) directs at EMT Squared, with Deko Akao (Higehiro, Komi Can't Communicate) supervising scripts and Hideki Furukawa (WATAMOTE, Strike The Blood III) handling character design.

The manga launched on Square Enix's Manga UP! website in September 2019 and is being released in English through both Comikey and Manga UP! Global. Square Enix will publish the ninth compiled volume on July 7, coinciding with the anime's debut. The original light novel series, also published by Kadokawa with illustrations by uodenim, reached its eighth volume in March 2022.

With TrySail's involvement and a solid creative team behind the production, the July premiere looks to deliver both quality animation and memorable music for fans of isekai and magic-focused anime.
