Manga creator Tsuya Tsuya is expanding the Rakujitsu no Pathos universe with a new spinoff series launching next month. Young Champion Retsu magazine announced that Akatsuki no Logos (Logos of the Dawn) will debut in the magazine's next issue on August 18.

The spinoff follows Takuma Takumi, a manga assistant working under Masami Jinbo, a college junior who assists the main series' protagonist Aki Fujiwara. The story centers on Takuma navigating life in a shared house with Masami and her sister, juggling work responsibilities while maintaining proper boundaries around the two siblings.

This marks the second spinoff for Tsuya Tsuya's original Rakujitsu no Pathos manga, which has been running in Bessatsu Young Champion since 2014. The main series follows aspiring manga artist Aki and his former high school teacher Makoto Nakaima, who moves in next door with her husband. The 19th volume released in May 2026. The first spinoff, Tasogare no Ethos, ran from 2019 to September 2025 and explored Makoto's backstory; its fifth and final volume was published in November 2025.

Tsuya Tsuya's work has found international audiences as well. Seven Seas Entertainment released an English translation of the creator's three-volume Shiori's Diary manga, introducing Western fans to Tsuya Tsuya's style.

With Akatsuki no Logos, Tsuya Tsuya continues building out the Rakujitsu no Pathos world, offering longtime readers new perspectives on familiar characters and their connections. The spinoff will run in Young Champion Retsu, the same magazine home to the previous Tasogare no Ethos spinoff, keeping the expanded universe consolidated within Akita Shoten's publications.
