Udon Entertainment shared an impressive slate of upcoming releases at San Diego Comic-Con, headlined by the English release of the Spy x Family: Animation Art Book. The 224-page hardcover hits shelves on January 27, 2027, bringing Wit Studio's official art collection to North American fans. Originally released in Japan in December 2023, the book offers a behind-the-scenes look at the anime's animation and design.

Beyond Spy x Family, Udon announced it has licensed three new manga projects from artist Hiromi Matsuo. Department Store Waltz is an all-color illustrated book set in an early 20th century department store in a provincial Japanese city, while Rondo: The Ladies' Graphic Magazine focuses on a women's fashion publication celebrating its centennial. Both are lavishly illustrated all-color volumes originally published by Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha. The company also licensed the Belles Ruelles anthology series, which features four volumes of stories about shops and facilities in a fictional town called Euphemia, with contributions from various artists.

Udon's September 2026 lineup includes Manga Biographies: Momofuku Ando - The Inventor of Instant Noodles and Manga Biographies: Amelia Earhart - The Amazing Pilot, both releasing September 1. The publisher also announced art collections celebrating video game illustration, with CAPCOM Masterworks: Shinkiro and SNK Masterworks: Shinkiro arriving December 1. Both hardcovers showcase the legendary illustrator's work across decades of game franchises.

Additional releases include Hidetaka Tenjin's Artistry of Gundam, a 144-page exploration of Mobile Suit Gundam's character and mechanical design arriving September 22, and The Art of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a 352-page artbook for the video game.

The announcements reflect Udon Entertainment's growing focus on prestige art collections alongside manga, giving North American fans access to beautiful behind-the-scenes content from anime, games, and illustrated media.
