The Uma Musume: Pretty Derby franchise is taking its musical talents international. Cygames announced that the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby – 7th Event World Tour: The Stage will hit Los Angeles' Peacock Theater on October 22 at 8:00 p.m. PDT and October 23 at 7:00 p.m. PDT. Tickets go on sale July 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

The live concert will feature the full voice cast performing as their character horse girls, including Machico as Tokai Teio, Minami Takahashi as El Condor Pasa, Yui Ogura as Manhattan Cafe, and 15 other performers bringing the game's idol characters to life on stage.

This marks the first time Uma Musume's live musical events are being performed globally. The tour kicked off with performances in Tokyo on June 20-21 and will also visit London, Seoul, and Yokohama after the Los Angeles dates. The franchise previously held large-scale concerts in Japan, with the 6th Event "The New Frontier" running in Saitama in May and October 2025.

Uma Musume: Pretty Derby has grown significantly since its February 2021 launch on iOS and Android. The mobile game, which was delayed from its original 2018 window to improve quality, expanded to PC via DMM Games in March 2021 and reached English-speaking audiences when it launched in English on June 26, 2025. The game won Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2025.

The premise centers on "Uma Musume"—girls with exceptional athletic abilities who compete as idols in the entertainment spectacle called the Twinkle Series. Players act as trainer and teacher at the Nihon Uma Musume Training Center Academy, helping these characters develop their talents and achieve stardom.
