The English dub for Undead Unluck: Winter Arc is coming to Hulu on July 2, TMS Entertainment USA confirmed this week. The one-hour special, which originally aired in Japan on December 25, adapts Yoshifumi Tozuka's Undead Unluck manga and serves as a bridge between seasons.

The Winter Arc special made major waves when it first aired in Japan—it ended with an announcement for a second season of the main Undead Unluck television anime. Hulu already streamed the special when it premiered in December, but English-speaking viewers will now get the dubbed version next month.

For context, the first Undead Unluck TV season debuted in October 2023 and wrapped up its 24-episode run in March 2024. The series follows Fuko Izumo, a woman with incredibly bad luck who discovers that a man named Andy can't die. When their curse-based abilities combine, they become nearly unstoppable—leading them to work for an organization that specializes in handling supernatural threats. The show's blend of action, dark humor, and surprisingly heartfelt character dynamics has resonated with fans.

The arrival of the Winter Arc dub on Hulu aligns with the platform's broader push to expand anime offerings. This same week, Hulu is also premiering the English dub for Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 (July 15) and hosting Though I Am an Inept Villainess with both subtitles and a dub (July 12). The latter series, adapted from Satsuki Nakamura's light novel, saw its TV debut delayed from April to July due to production scheduling.

For those outside the US and Canada, Crunchyroll continues to stream the main Undead Unluck series and will also carry the English dub version. The platform streams the show across North America, Europe, South America, and numerous other regions with both Japanese audio and English dubbing available.

With the Winter Arc dub arriving in early July and season two confirmed, anime fans have plenty of reason to revisit this quirky supernatural action series over the next few months.
