Yen Press revealed a fresh batch of licenses during its Anime North panel, bringing seven manga and two novel series to English-speaking readers over the next year.

The headliner is a Wistoria: Wand and Sword prequel novel by original series author Fujino Ōmori, with illustrations by Yūnagi. The story follows Will and his childhood friend Elfaria as they enroll at Regarden Magical Academy. While Elfaria thrives and gets recruited to the Tower—the elite inner circle of magical society—Will struggles with self-doubt. Everything changes when he discovers his true strength lies not in magic wands like everyone else, but in a sword.

Also coming to shelves is a Honey Lemon Soda novel adaptation by Anju Goshirakawa and Mayu Murata. The story centers on Uka Ishimori, a bullied student who builds walls around her emotions. When a yellow-haired boy offers her encouragement before her high school entrance exams, she's inspired to transfer to his school for a fresh start and the chance to reclaim her joy.

The manga slate includes several standouts. Snowmelt and Agapanthus by Nauchi follows Natsuki, a star student and athlete who feels something missing despite having it all—until a blunt transfer student named Shun upends her world. As Natsuki craves Shun's company more, she begins questioning the nature of her feelings.

Witch and Cat by Yodaka Kuroi presents a different kind of story. Sudou appears to be an ordinary deliveryman, but he actually works for an underground courier service. When he bonds with his standoffish neighbor Uno and develops unexpected feelings, everything shifts after he learns Uno harbors a supernatural secret.

Yen Press didn't announce the complete list of seven manga titles during the announcement, though these previewed series suggest a mix of fantasy, romance, and supernatural themes aimed at varied demographics. The December 2026 and winter 2027 release windows give readers a solid pipeline of new content to anticipate.
