Yukari Sakai's 'Sinful Is the Angel Who Loves' Manga Wrapping Up This Year
The supernatural romantic comedy manga by Yukari Sakai will conclude in just three chapters, according to an announcement in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine. Yen Press will release the first English volume in December.

Yukari Sakai's manga Sinful Is the Angel Who Loves (Koisuru Tenshi wa Tsumibukai) is heading toward the finish line. The series will wrap up in three chapters, Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine announced in its July 3 issue.
The story follows Misora Shiratori, a friendless high school student living in a world where angels walk alongside humans. Misora's dream is to earn a divine halo—a reward reserved for the most virtuous angels. Her path to redemption leads her to join the student council alongside her beautiful classmate Kanade Agoshi. But she quickly discovers the council is far from a beacon of righteousness. Instead, its seven members are notorious as the Council of Deadly Sins, operating as a den of twisted desires and temptation.
Sakai launched the series in Hana to Yume back in March 2025, and the manga has already released three compiled volumes domestically. Hakusensha shipped the third volume on April 20. The English-language version through Yen Press is still in its early stages—the first volume arrives on December 15, giving English readers their first official look at this supernatural romantic comedy.
With the series concluding in just three chapters, the remaining chapters will likely air in upcoming issues of Hana to Yume before the full story concludes. For fans who have been following along in the Japanese magazine, this announcement marks the beginning of the end for Misora's journey through the sinful ranks of her school's student council.
The relatively quick wrap-up suggests Sakai may have had a specific endpoint in mind, or perhaps editorial decisions influenced the timeline. Either way, readers interested in this particular blend of supernatural elements and high school drama won't have to wait long to see how the conflict between virtue and temptation resolves. English fans will have to be patient though—they won't catch up to the Japanese release until well after the series concludes.
