Shochiku announced Wednesday that Kou Sawada's Yumeneconnect manga is receiving a television anime adaptation.

The anime will star Yūsuke Kobayashi as Yūhi Takamiya and Yū Sasahara as Nano. Sōta Yokote, who directed To Your Eternity season 3, is helming the series at Studio Massket. Gigaemon Echikawa, known for Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden and A Galaxy Next Door, is handling both script writing and series supervision. Character design comes from Yoshihiro Watanabe, who has worked on Haganai, Overflow, and Adam's Sweet Agony. Hayato Matsumura is composing the score, with Lantis handling music production and SHOCHIKU anime presenting the adaptation.

The manga follows Yūhi Takamiya, a chronically ill student who has been absent from school since his first day of high school. Desperate for companionship, he cries out for friends one day—and an alien named Nano from the planet Pokotsun materializes in his room. She begins aggressively marketing ridiculous products to him, including something classified as the galaxy's most dangerous life form, gradually making his life more interesting.

Sawada launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2024. Kodansha will release the 10th compiled volume on Friday.
