Explore the art of Japanese calligraphy (shodo). Learn basic brush strokes, write your name in katakana, and create a piece to take home.

Can I pay at the door?
Yes! We accept cash, Venmo, and PayPal at the door for $10 workshop events. Online pre-purchase through our website is encouraged to guarantee your spot and help us plan.
Do I need to attend every event?
Not at all! Each event is standalone. Come to one, come to all, or pick and choose what interests you. Every ticket and every dollar helps.
Is this family-friendly?
Absolutely. All events are family-friendly. Youth under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Craft Night on March 30 is especially great for families.
Where does the money go?
Every dollar raised goes directly to Knox Pop Con's mission: bigger guests, more free community events, and more opportunities for young leaders in East Tennessee. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
