Subie Crew Knoxville brings itasha builds, rally-bred performance machines, and JDM culture to Knox Pop Con 2026. Here's a taste of what you'll see at the car show.

Horsepower meets pop culture.
Subie Crew Knoxville brings the full spectrum of JDM car culture to Knox Pop Con 2026. From rally-bred WRXs to anime-wrapped itasha builds, this is where the garage meets the convention floor.
Rooted in Japanese heritage.
Subie Crew Knoxville isn't just about cars โ it's about the culture. The connection between Japanese automotive engineering and the wider world of Japanese pop culture runs deep.
Built on boxer rumbles and mountain roads.
Founded in 2023, Subie Crew Knoxville started as a group of Subaru enthusiasts who shared a passion for the boxer engine rumble, mountain road cruises, and the tight-knit community that forms around Japanese car culture. What began as parking lot meetups has grown into one of East Tennessee's most recognized JDM communities.
The crew's use of ๆตฎไธ (ukiyo) โ the Japanese concept of โthe floating worldโ from the Edo period โ speaks to the spirit of their community. It's about living in the moment: the late-night meets, the sound of a flat-four echoing through the Smoky Mountains, the thrill of seeing a perfectly built car for the first time. That ephemeral, sensory experience is what car culture is all about.
Subie Crew Knoxville has been part of East Tennessee's car show scene since 2023, hosting events like the Taste of Tokyo JDM Car Show and attending gatherings including Harper Auto Square's Cars & Coffee. Their community bridges Subaru purists, JDM import lovers, and anyone who appreciates Japanese automotive engineering.
Now, Subie Crew Knoxville brings their car show to Knox Pop Con 2026 โ creating a unique crossover where JDM car culture meets the world of anime, K-Pop, and Asian pop culture. This is their show, hosted at our event.
This isn't just a car show. It's a culture clash.
A Subie Crew Knoxville-hosted car show at an Asian pop culture festival. JDM meets anime. Boxer engines meet K-Pop bass lines. This is something Knoxville has never seen before.
