世が世なら!!! Announces New Member, Group Rebrand, and Fall Tour
The Japanese boys group 世が世なら!!! is entering a new chapter with a fresh member, a fan-voted name change, and a five-city tour launching this fall. Two members departed, prompting the group to reimagine their future.

Japanese boys group 世が世なら!!! is stepping into a new era. The group announced that two members—Masato Kasamatsu and Yuma Hashizume—departed on June 14, paving the way for new additions and a complete rebrand.
The new lineup will be revealed at a free live event on September 4 at Sunshine City Fountain Plaza in Tokyo's Ikebukuro district. More significantly, the group is ditching their current name entirely. Rather than deciding the rebrand themselves, the members are letting fans choose. The new group name will be selected from fan submissions through their official fan club, with voting open until June 30.
"We want to take a big step forward with this new chapter," the group said in a statement. Member Goin Naito noted the irony of the rebrand: "I never imagined I'd have a different name someday, but this change comes from a positive place. We're grateful that our fans get to shape what we become."
The timing reflects the group's confidence in their direction. Rather than dwelling on the departures, remaining members emphasized evolution. "We're not just replacing people—we're completely reimagining what 世が世なら!!! can be," member Seita Nakayama explained. "Every element, from our members to our music to our live performances, will be different."
The renewed group launches immediately into a five-city tour this fall, kicking off October 4 in Sendai and hitting major venues in Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Tokyo through November. Fan club presale tickets opened June 23.
The group's trajectory has been steady since their 2022 debut with the single "Koudou no Fighters." They've released two singles and an album, "Jinsei Haisha Fukkatsu-sen," and completed their first five-city tour in spring 2024. This rebrand marks their biggest transformation yet—and by letting fans name them, 世が世なら!!! (or whatever they become) is betting that shared ownership will deepen fan connection during this pivotal moment.
