04 Limited Sazabys' YON FES 2026 is teaming up with Uniqlo's UTme! platform to give fans a chance to design their own festival merchandise. The collaboration kicks off tomorrow (June 5) and runs through July 31.

Fans can use exclusive YON FES and 04 Limited Sazabys designs to customize items through the UTme! service, mixing and matching elements to create one-of-a-kind pieces. It's a creative way to make the festival experience more personal for attendees.

YON FES 2026 takes place June 20-21 at Morikoropark in Aichi Prefecture, continuing the Japanese rock band's tradition of hosting the festival. Since launching YON FES in 2016, 04 Limited Sazabys has built it into a significant annual event featuring lineups packed with major Japanese rock acts.

The band itself has had a steady rise since forming in Nagoya in 2008. They gained early traction with their 2014 single "YON"—which actually inspired the festival's name—before their 2015 major label debut album "CAVU." Over the years, they've released several notable projects including 2022's "Harvest" and 2023's self-cover album "Re-Birth," most recently dropping the EP "MOON" in January 2025.

Beyond the merchandise collaboration, the band has been active on the live circuit. They're also scheduled to perform a two-man show called "J-WAVE THE KINGS PLACE LIVE 2026 SUMMER" with opening act ねぐせ。(Neguse) on August 4 at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo, marking their first collaboration at that venue.

The UTme! partnership represents a growing trend of Japanese festivals and artists leveraging retail collaborations to enhance fan engagement. For attendees heading to YON FES this month, the customization service offers a tangible way to take home something truly unique from the event.
