AKASAKI, a 19-year-old university student and singer-songwriter, is making her radio debut with "AKASAKI's All Night Nippon 0 (ZERO)," airing on Nippon Broadcasting on July 4 at 27:00 (3 a.m.). The two-hour show marks a new milestone for the young artist as she heads into her final year as a teenager.

AKASAKI has already built an impressive resume despite her age. Her 2024 single "Bunny Girl" became a breakout hit, landing in Spotify's Top 50 - Japan chart. The track's success led to her Asia tour "KONNICHIWA" in late 2025, making her the youngest Japanese solo artist to undertake such a regional tour while still in her teens. The tour wrapped with a final show at KT Zepp Yokohama in Kanagawa on December 18.

In a statement about the radio gig, AKASAKI expressed genuine enthusiasm mixed with a touch of nervousness: "I'm really happy to experience my first radio show right before my 20s! I'm worried I might get a little too wild, but I'm excited. I'll give it my all!" The program will feature special segments tailored to her age, playing on the "19" theme.

The show will extend beyond the traditional radio broadcast. Nippon Broadcasting will stream live video from the studio on the mobile app 17LIVE, and AKASAKI will record an exclusive after-talk session for the platform following the broadcast, giving fans multiple ways to engage with the content.

With chart success, international touring experience, and now a radio hosting role under her belt, AKASAKI continues to establish herself as one of Japan's most active young artists. Her radio debut adds another chapter to an already eventful year and signals her expanding presence across different media platforms as she transitions into her twenties.
