ACEes Becomes Face of Fujiya's New Campaign

Johnny's idol group ACEes has been selected as the new brand characters for Fujiya's "Smile Switch" campaign. The announcement was made today, February 2nd, at a press conference held in Tokyo.

All five members of ACEes attended the event: Ukisho Hidaka, Nasu Yuto, Sakuma Ryuto, Fukada Ryusei, and Sato Ryuga. The group will represent the confectionery company known for iconic treats like Peko-chan lollipops and Milky candy.

About ACEes

ACEes is a five-member Johnny's group that debuted in 2019. The name combines "ACE" with "ease," representing their goal to become ace performers while maintaining an approachable, relaxed image. The members range in age from their late teens to early twenties and have built a following through variety show appearances and stage performances.

Fujiya Partnership

Fujiya, established in 1910, is one of Japan's oldest confectionery companies. Their "Smile Switch" campaign appears to focus on bringing joy through sweets, making ACEes a fitting choice given their youthful energy and positive image.

During the announcement, member Sakuma Ryuto reportedly expressed curiosity about how to make the giant celebration cake that was present at the event, showing the group's characteristic enthusiasm and playful nature.

This partnership represents another step in ACEes' growing presence in Japanese entertainment and advertising.
