MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN has unveiled the full nominee list for its second installment, recognizing the best in Japanese music across six major categories. The awards ceremony will be held Saturday, June 13, at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO.

Ado appears in the Best Global Hit from Japan category for "Useewa," alongside LiSA (nominated for "ReawakeR" featuring Stray Kids' Felix) and Kenshi Yonezu, who earned dual nominations for both "IRIS OUT" in Song of the Year and Best Global Hit from Japan categories. Yonezu also collaborated with Hikaru Utada on "JANE DOE," earning another Best Global Hit nomination.

Kenshi Yonezu leads the Artist of the Year race alongside Fujii Kaze, Mrs. GREEN APPLE, Sakanaction, and HANA. Yonezu's "IRIS OUT" also competes in Song of the Year against tracks from Blue Jeans, Sakanaction, AiNA THE END, and M!LK.

The awards feature six primary categories: Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Global Hit from Japan, and Best Song Asia. This year introduces specialized categories including Best Rock Song, Best Anime Song, Best Vocaloid Culture Song, and regional Best Japanese Song categories spanning Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America.

The Best Song Asia category brings K-pop representation with PLAVE competing for "Dash" and WOODZ for "Drowning," joining nominees from Indonesia and the Philippines.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE competes in Album of the Year for "10," while Fujii Kaze's "Prema" also appears in the same category alongside releases from Hoshino Gen, Southern All Stars, and a RADWIMPS tribute compilation.
