aespa has unveiled the music video for 'LEMONADE,' one of the lead tracks from their 2nd album released today. The visual captures the group's ability to blend sophisticated storytelling with their distinctive aesthetics.

The song itself is an electronic dance number built on a hypnotic synthesizer foundation. Its lyrics play with the "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" idiom, transforming it into a message about converting challenges into opportunities—delivered with aespa's signature wit. Writers include Ellie Soh, Louis Shay Jankel, Jordan Shaw, UPSAHL, and Cyrus Villanueva, with production from Shift K3y.

In the MV, aespa enters their parallel world only to have "lemon bugs" create cracks that open P.O.S (Pathways of Source). The group moves between these rifts, reshaping the darkened world in their own style. A standout choreography moment has them squeezing lemons in sync with the repeating line "I'll make it lemonade"—a playful visual metaphor for their message.

The 'LEMONADE' album contains 10 tracks spanning multiple genres: dance, rock, hyperpop, R&B, and pop-rock. Beyond the title track, it features 'WDA (Whole Different Animal)' with G-DRAGON as a second lead single, plus 'Switchblade' featuring Thai dollar sign and a version of 'LEMONADE' with Becky G. This marks aespa's first album in roughly two years since 'Armageddon,' which achieved their fourth consecutive million-seller.

A commemorative physical album lottery event is scheduled for July 17. Meanwhile, aespa is gearing up for their third world tour, 'aespa SYNK : COMPLæXITY 2026-27 Live Tour,' launching in August with stops across 25 regions in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. Japanese tour dates haven't been announced yet.

The group has maintained their position as one of K-pop's biggest acts, with their 2023 album 'MY WORLD' setting a new record at 1.69 million copies sold in its first week.
