Teretō Music Festival 2026 Summer is shaping up to be a major event with the announcement of its second lineup wave. The broadcast, set for June 28 on Teretō, will feature K-pop group aespa joining an impressive roster of Japanese and international artists.

The expanded performer list includes Kis-My-Ft2, KEY TO LIT, TRF, hitomi, and several other established acts spanning multiple decades of Japanese pop culture. Notably, this marks the television debut for several artists, including legendary performer Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi, who will perform three of his signature songs: "Tonbo," "RUN," and "Kanpai."

The program, hosted by Snow Man's Shoji Fukazawa and actress Matsumoto Wakana, will run approximately four and a half hours as a live broadcast. Among the standout segments is a "Small Room Tetsuya Komuro Super Hit Medley" featuring TRF's YU-KI and Mark Panther performing globe tracks "Love Again" and "Freedom."

Perhaps most intriguing is the "Legendary Drama Song Special Medley" section. This segment reunites the duo NOA—composed of actor Eisaku Yoshida and actress Atsuko Sendō—for their first television performance of "Ima wo Dakishimete" in 32 years. The song, written and produced by X Japan's YOSHIKI, will be accompanied by appearances from fellow cast members.

The program will also feature other notable actors performing theme songs from hit dramas, including Hidekazu Akai, Issei Ishida, Akiho Sendō, Masanobu Takashima, Noriko Sakai, and Tetsuya Takeda. In a particularly innovative touch, the latest technology will be used to recreate a stage performance by the late Minako Honda in her original appearance.

The second lineup announcement adds to the previously revealed first wave, which included IMP., Aぇ! group, AKB48, ZARD, Juice=Juice, DA PUMP, and Nogizaka46. The full broadcast airs Sunday, June 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:54 p.m. on Teretō and affiliated stations.
