Alternative rock band ALI has teamed up with rapper ZORN for the opening theme of the upcoming anime 'Left-Handed Ellen' (Hidarikiki no Ellen), set to air on TV Tokyo starting April 7th.

The opening theme, titled "FUNKIN' BEAUTIFUL feat. ZORN," brings together ALI's genre-blending rock sound with ZORN's distinctive rap style. Meanwhile, singer-songwriter Shikin (紫今) will perform the ending theme "New Walk."

'Left-Handed Ellen' is based on the popular web manga that follows the story of Ellen, a left-handed art student navigating life and creativity. The series has gained significant attention for its realistic portrayal of the struggles and triumphs of young artists.

ALI, known for their fusion of rock, electronic, and hip-hop elements, previously gained international recognition for their work on anime soundtracks including 'BEASTARS.' Their collaboration with ZORN, a respected figure in Japan's underground hip-hop scene, promises to deliver a dynamic sound that matches the anime's creative energy.

This marks another major anime tie-in for ALI, who continue to build their reputation as go-to artists for anime themes that push musical boundaries. The combination of ALI's experimental approach and ZORN's lyrical prowess should create an opening theme that captures the artistic spirit of the source material.
