Japanese artist ano completed her first hall tour, "ano Hall Tour 2026 DUAL DINER," with a sold-out performance at Osaka's Grand Cube on May 31. The nine-show run marked a significant expansion for the multi-talented artist, with an additional Tokyo performance scheduled for September 4.

The tour introduced a major sonic shift for ano's live shows. For the first time, string musicians joined every song—violinist Hono Sato, violist Sena Oshima, and cellist Masagen Watanabe complemented her regular band of guitarist Taku Inoue, bassist Shuuichi Manabe, drummer Kensuke Nishiura, and keyboardist Hirono Nagayama. The orchestral additions gave her arrangements a concert-hall elegance that elevated the entire experience.

The stage design reflected the "DUAL DINER" concept, with a dinner table centerpiece surrounded by candles and flowers, creating an intimate yet theatrical atmosphere distinct from previous tours. The performance opened with "Past die Future"—which had closed her 2025 Nippon Budokan show—as ano balanced aggressive electric guitar moments with vulnerable acoustic arrangements throughout the night.

ano performed recent hits like "Aii Bansan," the theme for the drama "Aku no Hana" featuring child actor Fuku Suzuki, which became one of the evening's most chaotic moments with near-noise-based production. She also cycled through fan favorites including "Smile Agenai," "Namida-kun, Ohayou," and her breakthrough track "Chu, Diversity," which trended after appearing on the "Chainsaw Man" anime.

The artist showcased her range by transitioning between high-energy performances and intimate moments, including stripped-down acoustic renditions of "Sweetside Suicide" and "Aishiteru, Nante Ne" featuring only guitar and strings. Between songs, ano connected with the audience, discussing her creative process and acknowledging she performed the previous day at the Metrock 2026 outdoor festival without holding back.

ano has built a diverse career beyond music, appearing in films, dramas, and as a voice actor in the anime film "Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction," where she also contributed to the hit theme song "Zetsetszetsu Zettai Seiiki" alongside singer Rira Ikuta.
