Band-Maid has announced their first-ever solo world tour, marking a major milestone for the all-female rock quintet known for their unique blend of traditional Japanese maid aesthetics and hard rock sound.

The Band-Maid World Tour 2026 kicks off in Hong Kong this March and includes confirmed dates across Japan, Europe, and the UK. North American shows are planned for October, though specific dates and venues will be announced later.

For international fans, this represents a significant opportunity to see Band-Maid in their element. The Tokyo-based group has built a devoted global following since their 2013 formation, combining intricate musicianship with their signature maid cafe-inspired costumes. Their sound draws from hard rock and progressive metal, with guitarist Kanami's technical prowess and vocalist Saiki's powerful range driving their appeal beyond the novelty of their visual concept.

Band-Maid has been building momentum internationally through festival appearances and select overseas shows, but this marks their first comprehensive solo world tour. The group consists of Miku Kobato (rhythm guitar/vocals), Kanami (lead guitar), Akane (drums), Misa (bass), and Saiki (lead vocals).

The announcement comes as Japanese rock bands continue gaining traction worldwide, with Band-Maid positioned among the most successful acts bridging domestic and international markets. Their blend of accessibility and musical complexity has earned praise from both metal purists and newcomers to Japanese rock.

With the tour spanning nearly a full year across multiple continents, 2026 could prove to be Band-Maid's biggest year yet for reaching new audiences globally.
