BE:FIRST has secured their 12th No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 with "Missing," a digital single released July 1 that dominated the chart dated July 8.

The track achieved a clean sweep across all measurement categories—radio airplay, physical sales, downloads, video views, and streaming—to claim the top spot. The No. 1 follows the group's previous chart-topper, "BE:FIRST ALL DAY."

The release also brought a second entry from the same project: "Why, Why" debuted at No. 52 on the same chart week, giving BE:FIRST two simultaneous positions on the tally.

Elsewhere on the chart, Kenshi Yonezu's "Karasu" ("Raven") held at No. 2, while M!LK's "Sukisugite Metsu!" jumped to No. 3. Sakanaction's "Yoru no Odoriko" moved to No. 4, and M!LK's "Bakuretsu Aishiteru" remained at No. 5.

Fourteen new entries debuted this week. GAN, the solo project of Takanori Iwata from Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS, entered at No. 8 with "Who's Next," driven largely by physical sales of 39,237 copies. The EBiDAN 15th-anniversary single "Yes! Tokyo" arrived at No. 10, powered mainly by streaming and video metrics. Tomohiro Kamiyama's "G.O.D." debuted at No. 11, ranking at No. 2 on downloads alone.

Other notable new entries included Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter's collaborative track "Bring Your Love" at No. 16 (boosted by radio airplay), D.O.L's "Summer Freeze" at No. 17, and Kis-My-Ft2's "My Affection" at No. 20. YOASOBI's "Orion" entered at No. 25 with balanced support across radio, streaming, and downloads. Akina Nakamori's "Gomen to, Suki to," returned to the chart at No. 67.

Summer-themed tracks gained traction as the season approaches. Mrs. GREEN APPLE's "Ao to Natsu" ("Blue and Summer") climbed from No. 79 to No. 44, while aiko's summer staple "Hanabi" ("Fireworks") re-entered the chart for the first time in roughly 10 months.
