BUDDiiS is stepping into the film world with their newest single. The nine-member dance and vocal group will perform "Crash Paradise," the theme song for "Water Guardians," which releases August 21. The film marks the acting debut of BUDDiiS member Mori Shuuto in a leading role.

"Water Guardians" is a summer-set coming-of-age story about young people who stumble into becoming lifeguards. The narrative follows their journey as they balance dreams, friendship, and romance during one pivotal summer. Mori plays Kaito Hattori, the protagonist, alongside a cast that includes members from other entertainment groups like IMP. and BALLISTIK BOYZ.

The official trailer, which dropped on YouTube, features "Crash Paradise" and provides a first look at the film's tone and visuals. The production is generating early buzz with its ensemble cast approach and youthful energy.

For BUDDiiS, the collaboration extends their reach beyond music into film. The group has built momentum since their 2021 debut with "Click Me." They've held multiple sold-out shows, including their 2022 debut at the legendary Nippon Budokan venue—a first for a male artist. In 2024, they continued their expansion with shows at the Saitama Super Arena and released the mini album "UtopiiA."

Mori's film debut comes as BUDDiiS continues to expand their presence in entertainment. By contributing the theme song to his own film, the group reinforces their connection to Mori's individual projects while maintaining their collective identity.

Fans can catch "Water Guardians" in theaters starting August 21, with "Crash Paradise" available as the official soundtrack.
