Chakura will provide the ending theme for the drama adaptation of the BL manga 'Servant Prince,' launching July 3 at 11 p.m. on TOKYO MX. The new song, titled "Your Name is a Summer Seasonal Word," marks a custom composition for the series.

The drama stars BUDDiiS member Shuki Ogawa and Toshiki Seto in lead roles, bringing to life the story of Naoya Gotou and Takaaki Satou—two characters whose dynamic shifts after a decade of connection. The original manga by Mio Tatsumoto has surpassed 2 million downloads, making this live-action adaptation highly anticipated among fans.

Chakura's track captures the emotional core of the narrative. The song features bittersweet melodies paired with lyrics that mirror the drama's central themes of transformation and devotion. Band member Wakita Ruru (bass, vocals), who penned the lyrics, shared insight into the creative process: "Even when you can't relate to the characters, reading between the lines reveals romantic struggles we've all experienced. Watching Naoya and Takaaki's relationship makes me realize that the dynamics of who gives and who receives matter less than finding someone important to you—someone you can face, someone worth protecting as you grow from student to adult. I wrote these lyrics with love for both of them."

The drama marks the second collaboration between the series and Japanese artists; BUDDiiS opened the show with its own theme song, released earlier this month. A 30-second promotional video featuring Chakura's ending theme is already live on YouTube.

'Servant Prince' airs Friday nights at 11 p.m. on TOKYO MX, with new episodes rolling out weekly. For fans drawn to character-driven stories and emotionally resonant soundtracks, this series offers both—plus a soundtrack worth following in its own right.
