DISH//, the four-piece dance rock band known for their energetic live performances, will contribute the opening theme song "Aikotoba" to the new anime "Uchi no Otoko Domo ga Sumimasen," premiering July 3 on TOKYO MX and other networks. Singer-songwriter Shio Reira will provide the ending theme with "Clover."

"Aikotoba" is a custom composition that frontman Kitamura Takumi describes as a reflection on the found family at the series' heart. "I wanted to create a song that honors everyone's future together," Kitamura explained. "The shared language that emerges from becoming a family is sure to overflow with love."

The anime adapts Ozaki Akira's manga about Ito, a high school girl who gains four stepbrothers after her mother's remarriage. As she navigates her new role as eldest sibling, Ito finds herself developing complex feelings for her new family members.

Shio, who composed "Clover," connected personally with the source material's exploration of family bonds. "I have my own relationship with family, so there was much that resonated," Shio said. "I tried to weave words that honor the original while connecting to my own experience. Family ties are miracles close at hand."

DISH// formed in 2011 and signed with Sony Music Records in 2013. The band has maintained a strong presence in Japanese entertainment, with member Kitamura gaining attention for viral performances and film roles, including winning the Japan Academy Prize for Best New Actor. Their 2019 album "Junkfood Junction" peaked at number two on the Oricon chart.

"Aikotoba" will debut as a digital single on July 3, with a physical CD release scheduled for August 26. The single will include multiple bonus tracks, with different versions available in limited-edition, period-limited, and standard editions.

The anime's voice cast includes Ono Daisuke as Ito's new father and Endo Aya as her mother. A promotional video and artist comment videos are currently available on YouTube.
