EBiDAN Celebrates 15 Years With Star-Studded Remix Project
Japanese boy group EBiDAN is marking its 15th anniversary with a special single release featuring remixes from five acclaimed producers including Hydeain and Matt Cab. The group is also announcing lineup details for its anniversary live event.
EBiDAN is ringing in its 15th anniversary with an ambitious remix project for the single "Yes! 東京" (Yes! Tokyo), dropping August 11. The 15th anniversary edition will feature five reimagined versions of the track, each handled by a different producer bringing their own sonic signature.
The remix lineup is impressively stacked. Hydeain, who's been supporting EBiDAN since the group's early days under the same agency (Stardust Promotion), leads the pack alongside Matt Cab, a producer-artist known for genre-blending work. Three additional creators round out the roster: Korean producer Nor (known for future bass-influenced production), DJ and producer Maezawa (who blends emotional elements with layered soundscapes), and emerging artist Kakuly (a rising talent working primarily within internet culture).
Takashi from EBiDAN's sister group Chō Tokkyū (who's appearing on the project) expressed excitement in a statement: "We're honored that such accomplished artists are remixing 'Yes! Tokyo' for our 15th anniversary. Each remix shines in its own way—please check out the special remix versions."
Beyond the single, EBiDAN is also revealing details for "EBiDAN THE LIVE 2026 15th Anniversary," a major concert event scheduled for August at Tokyo's Yoyogi National Gymnasium. The announcement includes names of shuffle units—special lineup combinations that will perform at the show. This year's unit names include "Daishi Kyū" (Big Hurry), "ALUK," and "Sakanashimaaji," continuing the tradition of creative, quirky naming that fans have come to expect from the annual "Ebi Live" event.
Shuffle units are a fan-favorite element of EBiDAN's anniversary events, mixing members across the group's various affiliated units to create unexpected performance combinations. The full roster of unit members hasn't been revealed yet, leaving fans eager to speculate about which personalities will team up this year.
With both the remix project and shuffle unit announcements building momentum, EBiDAN's 15th anniversary celebration is shaping up to be one of the group's biggest milestones yet.
