fishbowl, the Shizuoka-based idol group, is celebrating five years since their stage debut with back-to-back events at LIVLIV in their hometown.

The main event takes place on July 20 (Monday/Holiday), featuring a special live that will showcase over 30 songs from fishbowl's catalog across their career. The show starts at 3 PM with doors opening at 2 PM.

Just before that, on July 18, the same venue will host "TIF Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Festival in Shizuoka," a lead-up event to the Tokyo Idol Festival 2026. This lineup will feature fishbowl alongside other Shizuoka-based groups and performers heading to the main TIF event, which runs July 31–August 2 in Tokyo's Odaiba area. Additional artists for the July 18 event will be announced later.

About fishbowl

The group, whose name means "goldfish bowl" in English, was formed through the Shizuoka TV-affiliated "Shizuoka Idol Project" that launched in fall 2020. All members are from Shizuoka, and the group's sound is produced by Shizuoka native Sho Yamamoto. fishbowl officially started in 2021, releasing their first track "Shinkai" that June. They dropped their debut albums "Shuen" and "Kyakuen" in December 2021, launched their first solo tour "Bristol Shubunkin" in March 2023, and have since released multiple full-length albums including 2024's "Shizen."

There's also a perk for TIF attendees: those holding Tokyo Idol Festival tickets or purchasing them at the July 18 event will receive photo vouchers redeemable at fishbowl's TIF booth.
