Five Hello! Project Members Contract Influenza B, Miss Weekend Shows

Five Hello! Project members have contracted influenza B and will miss this weekend's scheduled concerts as a precautionary measure.

The affected members include BEYOOOOONDS' Eguchi Saya and Nishida Shiori, Tsubaki Factory's Kawanishi Yunoka, Juice=Juice's Danbara Ruru, and Rosy Chronicle's Onoda Karin. All five tested positive for the B strain of influenza.

Hello! Project, the umbrella organization for these idol groups under UP-FRONT PROMOTION, prioritizes member health and fan safety during illness outbreaks. The decision to pull the members from weekend performances follows standard protocol to prevent further spread among the close-knit idol community.

BEYOOOOONDS, known for their energetic performances and diverse musical styles, will continue their scheduled activities with remaining healthy members. The 12-member group has maintained an active touring schedule throughout 2024.

Juice=Juice, one of Hello! Project's flagship groups since 2013, recently celebrated their 11th anniversary. Danbara Ruru joined the group in 2019 and has become a key vocalist for the quintet.

Tsubaki Factory and Rosy Chronicle, both newer additions to the Hello! Project family, have been building momentum with recent releases and live performances.
