Hearts2Hearts is getting the prime-time treatment. The eight-member girl group will be featured on NHK Eテレ's "Numahamakikitemita" (literally "came to listen in the swamp"), a variety show that explores what's capturing the hearts of Generation Z audiences.

The episode, titled "Hearts2Hearts Swamp," airs Saturday, June 27 at 8 p.m., with a repeat broadcast on July 3. The show is hosted by comedian Saya from the group Laland, with rotating guest MCs including Noda Kurisutaru from Magical Lovely.

Hearts2Hearts—the first girl group SM Entertainment has debuted in over four years—will pull out all the stops for the appearance. Viewer polls requested a cover performance most, so the group will tackle Girls' Generation's "Gee," paying homage to their label seniors. The group's hit "RUDE!" has already gained traction in Japan, with fans creating dance challenge videos that went viral across social media.

The broadcast will also feature an emotional segment where 19 fans—ranging from elementary school to college students—perform a nearly perfect recreation of the "FOCUS" dance choreography in front of the members. The show's cameras will capture the reactions from both the dedicated fans and Hearts2Hearts as they watch, with some audience members becoming visibly moved by the moment.

In lighter fare, viewers will also see the members getting lost in customizing phone cases in Harajuku during downtime. The segment promises to reveal each member's personality through their individual creations, including a handmade gift Jiwoo prepared for host Saya.

For the studio live performance, Hearts2Hearts will debut their Japanese-language version of "RUDE!"—a significant moment as this marks their first vocal release in Japanese.

The timing aligns with the group's second mini-album "Lemon Tang," dropping June 22. A Japanese CD release with exclusive bonuses hits stores July 17. More details are available on the group's official website.
