Hedigan's has confirmed that their annual two-man live event series AWAI will return for a third year in September 2026. The tour kicks off on September 3rd at Osaka's Club Quattro, followed by a September 10th show at Tokyo's Liquidroom. Guest artists for both nights will be announced at a later date.

Ticket pre-sales opened on June 8th through ticketing platform Ticket Pia, with early-bird pricing available through June 8th at 11:59 PM.

Started in 2024, AWAI brings together Hedigan's with respected artists they admire for collaborative performances. The event's name draws from the Japanese word "awai" (間), which refers to the space where things meet and intersect—whether between people, moments in time, or emotions. In a statement about the series, Hedigan's explained that AWAI focuses on what exists in those in-between spaces, exploring how things outside our immediate perception shape reality.

Along with the tour announcement, Hedigan's released a live album today capturing their April 18th performance at Tokyo's Zepp Shinjuku. Titled "Hedigan's Live at Zepp Shinjuku 2026.04.18," the six-track recording comes from a Natalie Live-hosted event featuring Hedigan's alongside 踊ってばかりの国 (Odotte Bakari no Kuni).

The live album includes performances of "Mansion," "Setsukyo-kusai Ojisan no Rumba," "Fune," "Haiboku no Sakuhou," "BtbB," and "O'share." The release is available across major streaming platforms.

For fans eager to catch Hedigan's live this fall, the September dates offer a chance to experience the band's collaborative vision firsthand. More details about guest performers should arrive in the coming weeks.
