Two Johnny's & Associates talents are expanding their acting portfolios with exciting new projects.

Hey! Say! JUMP's Inoo Kei will lead the stage adaptation of "Yojohan Shinwa Taikei" (The Tatami Galaxy), based on the acclaimed novel by Tomihiko Morimi. The production has revealed its main visual and confirmed the complete cast, with Inoo taking center stage in this surreal coming-of-age story about a college student's parallel universe adventures.

Kis-My-Ft2's Miyata Toshiya is lending his voice to Disney Pixar's upcoming animated film "Watashi ga Beaver ni Naru Toki" (When I Become a Beaver), set for Japanese release on March 13th. Miyata will voice a laid-back beaver character, adding voice acting to his growing list of entertainment ventures.

Both projects highlight how Johnny's idols continue branching into diverse acting roles. Inoo, known for his thoughtful performances in dramas like "Scams," tackles live theater, while Miyata explores animation voice work. The Hey! Say! JUMP member has previously appeared in various stage productions, making this latest role a natural progression in his theatrical career.

Miyata's casting in the Disney Pixar film represents a notable collaboration between the animation giant and a J-Pop idol, potentially introducing his fanbase to international animated cinema. His relaxed personality seems well-suited for voicing a "laid-back beaver" character.

These projects demonstrate how established idol group members are successfully transitioning into acting while maintaining their music careers, expanding their artistic range and reaching new audiences.
