Hibiya Music Festival 2026 Announces First Wave of Artists

Tokyo's beloved free music festival has revealed its initial artist lineup for 2026. The Hibiya Music Festival will return to Hibiya Park and surrounding venues on May 30-31, 2026, featuring 16 acts in the first announcement wave.

The lineup includes a diverse mix of established and emerging Japanese artists. Singer-songwriter fumino, known for her folk-influenced pop style, joins the bill alongside veteran rock band ORANGE RANGE, who gained fame in the early 2000s with their genre-blending sound mixing rock, hip-hop, and reggae.

Experimental pop artist Kimishima Ozora (君峢倧空) will also perform, bringing his atmospheric indie sound to the festival. The announcement also includes rock band SOIL and veteran rapper KREVA, who helped establish Japan's hip-hop scene in the late '90s and early 2000s.

The Hibiya Music Festival has become a major fixture in Tokyo's music calendar since its inception, offering free access to both Japanese and international acts in one of the city's most central locations. Hibiya Park's proximity to major districts like Ginza and Marunouchi makes it easily accessible for both locals and visitors.

With 13 more acts still to be announced, the festival promises to offer something for every music taste. The free admission policy continues the event's mission of making live music accessible to all audiences, regardless of economic background.

More artist announcements are expected in the coming months as the festival builds toward its May 2026 dates.
