Hideki Saijo fans now have access to another major chunk of the legendary singer's catalog. Starting May 16, 35 singles from his 1983–1999 era became available on all major streaming and download services under the title "HIDEKI SINGLES Vol.2."

This release follows the April 13 debut of "HIDEKI SINGLES Vol.1," which featured 43 tracks spanning 1972–1982. Combined, the two volumes bring 78 songs to digital platforms for the first time, opening Saijo's prolific career to a new generation of listeners.

The new collection is a tour through Saijo's later work, spanning everything from the disco-flavored "Garandou" (1983) to YOSHIKI's polished production on "Moment" (1997). Several tracks highlight his versatility as an interpreter: he tackles Wham!'s "Careless Whisper" as a smooth ballad, duets with Barry Manilow on "In Search of Love," and lends his voice to anime soundtracks—most notably as the second ending theme for Chibi Maruko-chan with "Hashire Shoujikimono" (1991).

The collection also includes "Ichiman Kounen no Ai" ("A Hundred Million Light-Years of Love"), which served as the theme song for Japan's 1985 Tsukuba Science Expo. Many of these songs feature collaborations with top Japanese songwriters and arrangers, reflecting Saijo's status as a major pop figure during this era.

Beyond the streaming release, fans will have another opportunity to experience Saijo's artistry when a live Blu-ray and DVD drops on May 20. "HIDEKI SAIJO BIG GAME 1978 Stadium Live in Tokyo" captures his performance at the legendary Korakuen Stadium concert nearly five decades ago.
