Hinatasaka46's fifth generation members are getting the spotlight on their group's radio program. Starting June 7, the ten newest members will appear two at a time on "Hinata no 'Hi'" (Hinatasaka46's "Hi"), a show hosted by third-generation member Uemura Hinano on Bunka Broadcasting.

The appearances will run for five consecutive weeks, with each broadcast featuring a special segment called "Hinatasaka46 Fifth Generation's Unsolvable Talk." During these segments, the fifth-gen members will share moments where they felt unsure about something, reveal unknown aspects of their relationships, and discuss their charming personal sides.

The first episode featured Katayama Saki and Sato Yuyu, who discussed the story behind their generation's song "Enshuritsu" (Pi), for which Sato serves as center. They also shared their enthusiasm for an upcoming concert. "I was nervous as the first guests for this special week," Katayama said, "but we had so much fun talking. There are lots of interesting topics about 'Enshuritsu' and recent happenings, so please tune in."

Sato added: "I was anxious about returning after so long, but I had a great time chatting with Hinano and Saki. The segment featuring 'Enshuritsu' was really enjoyable, and I'd be thrilled if many people listen."

Following this week are appearances from Ota Mizuki and Takai Rika (June 14), Kuramori Hinano and Shimoda Ishuki (June 21), Tsurusaki Masaka and Matsuo Sakura (June 28), and Ono Manami and Sakai Niina (July 5).

The fifth generation joined Hinatasaka46 in March 2025 and released their first group song in May. They'll perform their first solo concert, "Fifth Generation LIVE," at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa on July 5. The radio appearances offer long-time fans and newcomers alike a chance to get to know the group's exciting new generation.
