HY has officially announced their next major tour, "HY KUKURU CHANPURU TOUR 2026-2027," beginning September 22, 2026. The Okinawa-based rock band will perform across Japan through January 2027, with dates already confirmed in cities including Saitama, Chiba, Gifu, and concluding in Okinawa on January 31, 2027.

The tour's title draws from Okinawan dialect—"kukuru" means "heart," while "chanpuru" refers to a traditional mixing together of ingredients. HY framed the concept around gratitude for their 25th anniversary celebrations in 2024: "We want to return the celebration we received by mixing together everyone's emotions and feelings, blending new songs with the tracks you've loved, and delivering something positive."

The timing aligns perfectly with HY's prolific output this year. The band has been releasing new music monthly since May, with the third single "blue heart" set to arrive July 1. Written as a commercial jingle for Lawson Okinawa, "blue heart" will receive its full broadcast premiere on FM Okinawa's "HY no tii-cha x2" program on June 27 before being included on the upcoming album.

The 17th album "MIND＋" arrives September 16, just a week before the tour launches. This release follows an impressively active period for the band, which included their 16th album "TIME" in January 2025, a best-album compilation in June 2024, and continued television appearances.

HY's leader and vocalist Shige Shinzato (新里英之) is currently running parallel solo dates under his "Hide's Music Story ～Chapter3～" project through July, keeping the band's momentum strong heading into fall.

The tour spans roughly 25 dates across Japan's major cities and regions, reflecting HY's enduring appeal since their 2000 formation in Okinawa. Known for hits like "366日"—which received a drama adaptation and feature film treatment—the band continues proving their staying power nearly three decades into their career.
