INI to Perform at Hamada's Gobugobufest 2026 in Osaka

Eleven-member boy group INI has been announced as part of the second artist lineup for "Gobugobufest 2026," the music festival conceived by comedian Hamada Masatoshi from the legendary duo Downtown.

The festival will take place June 6-7 at Osaka's Expo Commemoration Park East Plaza. INI joins a diverse roster including solo artist Aina The End, dance-vocal unit ATARASHII GAKKO! (known internationally as ATARASHII GAKKO! LEADERS), and veteran performer Kondo Masahiko.

INI, formed through the survival show "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN Season 2" in 2021, has built a strong following with their synchronized performances and pop-R&B sound. The group consists of members Takumi Ozaki, Kyosuke Fujimaki, Sho Hirano, Jinlong Xu, Hiroto Goto, Takeru Goto, Yudai Sato, Rihito Nishihara, Masa Kimura, Fengfan Xu, and Keigo Ando.

Hamada's festival concept promises an eclectic mix spanning different generations and genres of Japanese entertainment. While details about specific performance times and additional acts remain under wraps, the comedian's involvement suggests the event will blend music with his signature humor.

This marks another significant festival appearance for INI as they continue expanding their presence in Japan's competitive idol scene. For international fans, this could signal more high-profile performances ahead as the group builds momentum.

More artist announcements for Gobugobufest 2026 are expected in the coming months.
