Two Japanese artists are gearing up for touring seasons this fall. Genki Iwahashi will kick off his "GENKI IWAHASHI TOUR 2026 'LAzarus'" in September, hitting Miyagi, Tokyo, and Osaka across three dates. The tour arrives as Iwahashi celebrates five years since launching his solo career in 2021, following his major label debut with Teichiku Entertainment in February.

The tour title carries personal significance for Iwahashi. "LAzarus" references resurrection and rebirth—themes he's lived through personally. In his statement, he explained: "When you lose important people, dreams, or hope, it's easy to give up. But if you keep fighting, you can stand up again. Things you've lost can return, or you can be reborn as yourself. I've experienced this."

Iwahashi's tour dates include September 6 in Miyagi, September 9 in Tokyo (with matinee and evening shows), and September 20 in Osaka (also with two performances). Ticket pre-sales through his official fan club "Fairytales" begin June 5.

Beyond touring, Iwahashi is actively working on new material. He's currently producing a new album that will deeply reflect his personal vision and messages—details coming later.

Meanwhile, singer-songwriter Kuroki Nagisa announced her own touring plans with the one-man live tour "Kamisama In The Tote Bag," running from September through October. Kuroki's creative focus this year centers on the theme of "forgery," suggesting the tour will showcase work built around that concept.

Both artists are marking significant moments in their careers this fall. Iwahashi's five-year solo milestone and major label progression represent steady growth since his 2021 independent start, while Kuroki continues building her artistic identity through touring and thematic exploration. Fans of both artists have fresh reasons to look forward to the coming months.
