The final season of anime BLEACH has found its theme song performers. jo0ji will perform the opening theme with a new track called "I-BULL," while emerging artist 9Lana takes on the ending theme with "Spiral."

Both artists are relatively new to the scene, reflecting a deliberate choice by original manga creator Kubo Tite. He personally listened to demo submissions for all Thousand-Year Blood War arc themes and intentionally selected emerging artists throughout the series. "I wanted viewers to discover new artists through BLEACH and potentially become fans," Kubo explained.

jo0ji grew up watching BLEACH and expressed overwhelming gratitude at the opportunity. The artist crafted "I-BULL" around themes of courage in its many forms—facing challenges, having faith, and protecting others—all concepts reflected in the source material. The production process involved close collaboration with Kubo, who initially flagged specific elements he wanted refined. After jo0ji made revisions, Kubo received what he described as "almost a completely different song" that impressed him immediately.

9Lana, known for her distinctive "chameleon voice" that can shift between multiple vocal styles, similarly expressed surreal excitement about the opportunity. The artist has been building momentum since debuting on social media in 2020, accumulating over 100,000 social media followers within two years. 9Lana achieved major-label debut status in April with the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet ending theme "Let Me Battle" after contributing to various anime projects.

For the BLEACH finale, 9Lana submitted "Spiral" during the initial demo phase, where it stood out so distinctly that Kubo immediately marked it as a must-use track. He ultimately chose it for the ending slot because of its exceptional intro, which he felt would complement the story's conclusion perfectly.

The final arc, titled "Kina-Senten" (Malice Advances), begins July 25 on TV Tokyo. Both "I-BULL" and "Spiral" will release alongside the premiere.
