JO1's Shiraiwa Ruki and INI's Takatsuka Daiyume joined a star-studded stage greeting on June 1st at United Cinemas Toyosu in Tokyo to celebrate the premiere of "ONE CREATURE," a documentary following Japan's national soccer team's journey toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The film, releasing June 5th, tracks the growth and evolution of the SAMURAI BLUE squad through footage from the AFC Asian Cup 2023, World Cup qualifiers, training sessions, and behind-the-scenes moments. Both idols contributed to the project: Shiraiwa and Takatsuka performed the opening theme "Scenery" as part of the JI BLUE special unit, while GAKU-MC of Ukasuka G provided the team support song "Victory's Smile."

During the screening, Shiraiwa reflected on the emotional impact of watching the team's dedication. "I was deeply moved seeing the players and Coach Moriyasu working toward the same dream," he said. "I realized that no one can fight alone and win. We're learning so much about teamwork through our group activities." He was particularly struck by the coaching philosophy of "attention to basics"—the idea of perfecting everyday fundamentals to handle any challenge.

Takatsuka highlighted a standout moment from an Indonesian qualifier match, praising how the players mutually respect each other on the pitch. "The team's atmosphere really shines through," he noted. He also connected with the documentary's message, reflecting on the opening theme's lyrics: "Let no one call it a miracle anymore!" became far more meaningful after witnessing the players' behind-the-scenes effort.

GAKU-MC, an avid soccer fan, spoke about the importance of music in rallying support for the national team. "Soccer has given me courage many times, so I wanted to help through music," he explained. He was inspired by smaller details in the film too—particularly Coach Moriyasu's consideration for his European staff during late-night video calls, which revealed the human qualities driving the team's positive environment.

All three pledged their continued support. Shiraiwa promised the JI BLUE unit would help elevate the national team's visibility, while Takatsuka committed to backing the squad as a supporter. GAKU-MC summed it up simply: "I'll support Japan until the very end."
