JROCK NEWS is celebrating its 11th anniversary with PULSE vol. 2, a heavy music concert bringing together five acts for one intense night of metalcore, extreme metal, and hard rock. The event takes place Sunday, August 23, at Shinjuku ANTIKNOCK in Tokyo, with both in-person and livestream options available.

Headlining the lineup is ACME, a metalcore band known for their post-hardcore sound and high-energy performances. They'll be joined by PARAMENA, an extreme metal group celebrated for their technical approach that earned them a spot at Wacken 2024; BABYBEARD, a trio fronted by vocalist Ladybeard heading to Europe in October; GUNGIRE, described as Japan's most aggressive metalcore act; and DREAMY, a rising band marking their first anniversary this August.

Tickets for the live event are priced at 4,500 JPY for advance online purchases or 5,000 JPY at the door. Livestream access costs 2,500 JPY and will be available via TwitCasting, with on-demand viewing open through August 30 at 23:59 JST. This gives international fans a chance to catch the concert from anywhere in the world.

The PULSE series continues JROCK NEWS' commitment to showcasing Japan's heavy music scene. For fans unable to attend in person, the global livestream option removes geographic barriers—whether you're in Southeast Asia, North America, or Europe, you can tune in at showtime or catch the replay before the deadline.

Tickets and livestream access are available through Livepocket and TwitCasting's Premier service. Fans interested in the Japanese heavy music scene should mark August 23 on their calendars, as this lineup promises a solid evening of intense performances from some of the country's most dedicated acts.
