Kan Sano, the Japanese keyboardist and producer, has announced an additional date for his MOJACAT TOUR in Paris. The extra show, titled "Kan Sano Mental Sketch Solo Piano Live 'Paris Fête de la Musique EXTRA SHOW,'" will take place on June 21st at the Japan Cultural Institute in Paris.

The concert is part of the "Music of the Day" (音楽の日) event series and will be held outdoors in front of the cultural center starting at 3 p.m. Best of all, admission is free.

The timing is fitting for Sano, who just earned recognition at Japan's largest international music awards ceremony. Yesterday at Music Awards Japan 2026, he took home the Best Instrumental Music award for "God's Melody" (神様のメロディ). The Paris performance follows directly on the heels of his previously scheduled Paris show, offering fans an extra opportunity to catch the artist perform.

Sano's career spans multiple musical worlds. A graduate of Berklee College of Music's jazz composition program, he debuted in 2011 with the album "Fantastic Farewell" and has since become a fixture in beat music production. His work incorporates elements of jazz and classical music, creating a distinctive sound that's led to collaborations with major Japanese artists including Chara, UA, Takanori Nishikawa, and Ayaka. He's also contributed to numerous film scores and commercial compositions.

Recently, Sano released his first album in four years, which included collaborations with singer-songwriter Satoshi Shibata and French artist Maika Loubtéz. The Paris date offers European audiences a rare chance to experience his solo piano work firsthand as part of the ongoing MOJACAT TOUR.
