Karatsu Drop Festival 2026 has revealed its second batch of performers, expanding an already solid lineup with five additional acts. Kuro Yume, GADORO, Retrorylon, Marashi, and DJ Yatsui Ichiro join previously announced headliners including Dragon Ash, Nothing's Carved In Stone, and PES at the two-day outdoor event.

The festival takes place September 26-27 at Niji no Matsubara Beach's East Shore in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. Each artist has been assigned to specific dates, giving fans clear scheduling information for planning their attendance.

Festival Background

Karatsu Drop Festival originated from DROP FESTIVAL, an Australian-born surf trip-inspired music event. The festival debuted in Japan in 2022 in Miyazaki before relocating to Karatsu in 2025, a region known as the birthplace of surfing in Kyushu. The relocation and name change established it as a regional fixture on Japan's festival circuit.

Advance tickets are currently on sale through two platforms. Ticket Pia is accepting pre-orders until June 7 at 11:59 PM, while TIGET continues sales through July 20 at 11:59 PM. Residents of Saga Prefecture and Karatsu city have access to discounted tickets through local hotels including Niji no Matsubara Hotel The Beach and Karatsu Seaside Hotel.
