An enka family is bringing their February concert to home video. The "Kimura Family Concert" DVD released today features four generations of performers: Ichiro Toba, his brother Toyoshiro Yamakawa, and Toba's sons Ryuzo and Tetsuji Kimura. The recording captures their live performance from Tokyo's Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall.

The concert highlights the tight connections between these enka veterans, blending their individual hits with collaborative moments. The brothers Ryuzo and Tetsuji, who perform together as the unit "Ryutetsu Diary," get their own spotlight during the show, while each member also takes solo turns.

The DVD's setlist spans 23 songs, from family ensemble numbers like "Our Lullaby" and "Sea-Scent Mother" to individual performances. Ryuzo and Tetsuji contribute multiple tracks from their brother unit, while Toba and Yamakawa each perform signature solo pieces. "Broth of Brotherhood" pairs the brothers, and "Big Brother" and "Little Brother" bring different pairings together.

Beyond the main performance, the release includes bonus footage and a secondary audio track featuring Ryuzo and Tetsuji's commentary. To promote the DVD, a performance video of "Our Lullaby"—the concert's opening number—is now streaming on YouTube.

This release comes as the Kimura family continues building their media presence. The group recently launched a travel variety show and has been releasing new material together, including the single "Ah, A Solitary Journey." Their chemistry as performers has made them a notable presence in Japan's enka scene, with the family frequently collaborating on projects that celebrate both their individual artistry and their shared heritage.

The DVD is available through Japanese Crown Records.
