KinKi Kids member Tsuyoshi Domoto has ventured into the food business with his own pancake mix hitting stores nationwide on March 1st.

The product, titled "俺がε₯½γγͺγ†γ™γƒΌγγ¦γ‘γƒΌγ‘γ‚ƒγ„γ‚„γ€γ€‚γƒ›γƒƒγƒˆγ‚±γƒΌγ‚γƒŸγƒƒγ‚―γ‚Ή" ("The Thin and Small One I Like. Pancake Mix"), reflects Domoto's well-known love for pancakes. The name captures his preference for thin, small pancakes rather than the fluffy American-style ones typically popular in Japan.

Domoto, who performs solo under the name DOMOTO, partnered with food manufacturer Showa Sangyo to develop the mix. Known for his artistic sensibilities and attention to detail in both music and other creative projects, Domoto brought his particular pancake preferences to the commercial kitchen.

For context, Tsuyoshi Domoto forms half of the legendary Johnny's duo KinKi Kids alongside Koichi Domoto. The pair debuted in 1997 and became one of Japan's most successful pop acts. Tsuyoshi has also pursued solo music, acting, and various creative endeavors throughout his career.

This food collaboration represents an interesting expansion for the artist, who has always been vocal about his culinary interests. Japanese entertainment personalities often branch into product endorsements and collaborations, but creating a signature food item shows Domoto's hands-on approach to projects outside music.

The pancake mix will be available at retailers across Japan, giving fans a chance to recreate Domoto's preferred pancake style at home.
