Kizu is gearing up for a major release with their new album Gokuraku Yori Gokujo no Ame arriving August 5, and they've just dropped the full details fans have been waiting for.

The band shared the tracklist, album artwork, and bonus content on July 1, giving listeners plenty to look forward to. The album comes in three versions, each with its own perks. The regular edition includes 16 tracks mixing fresh material with beloved remakes—specifically reworked versions of "Kizuato," "Oni," "Strawberry Blue," "Kuroi Ame," and "Juusei." This exclusive bonus track offers fans a preview of what the remake treatment sounds like, with "Juusei" having already received a new version last year.

Both limited editions (Type A and Type B) feature 15 tracks without the exclusive "Juusei" remake, but they make up for it with different bonuses. Type A comes with a music video collection showcasing Kizu's recent visual work, including upcoming videos for "AMATELAS" and "Hajimari." Type B takes a different route, including documentary footage that pulls back the curtain on how the visual kei veterans operate behind the scenes.

Along with the album announcement, Kizu dropped the official music video for "Houou" (Phoenix), one of the album's standout tracks. The band debuted the song back in April alongside "JP:PARASITE" as fans waited out an album delay. True to the phoenix imagery in its title, the music video features the band performing in front of fiery backgrounds, building to a striking final scene with band members posed before a sun-damaged Japanese flag.

The album artwork maintains the detailed pen-and-ink style fans saw on the "Houou" single cover, with each version getting its own unique visual treatment. Combined with newly released artist photos showing the band in vibrant lighting, Kizu is clearly setting the tone for a visually ambitious era ahead.

With remakes, new material, and bonus content stacked across three editions, this release gives fans multiple reasons to pick up Gokuraku Yori Gokujo no Ame when it drops August 5.
