KO1KEYZ has officially debuted with its 12-member lineup following the finale of PRODUCE 101 JAPAN 新世界 on June 6. The group name and members were revealed at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium during the final evaluation stage, which aired live on Lemino and Nippon Television.

The chosen members are K.DAIKI, YOSHIKI, SIYOUNG, SHINHAENG, YUKI, ISSA, KEITO, YURA, RYOGA, RYUJI, KOSUKE, and TOWA. The lineup represents a 10-8 split between Japanese and Korean members—a composition that reflects the show's global reach.

K.DAIKI secured first place with 537,456 votes in the final round, while YOSHIKI came in second place with 508,787 votes. SIYOUNG rounded out the top three with 498,627 votes. The final evaluation featured 22 trainees competing on stage, split into two teams that performed original challenge songs "Go Go" and "BORN TO BE."

KO1KEYZ marks the fourth generation of groups to emerge from the PRODUCE 101 JAPAN franchise. Previous seasons produced JO1, INI, and ME:I, with each debuting 11 members. This new group breaks that pattern with 12 members—the largest debut class yet from the series.

The survival audition ran since March 2026, with voting power split between domestic voters (국민 Producers) and international viewers (SEKAI Producers). Over 6.98 million total votes were cast during the final round, underscoring the fanbase's investment in the selection process.

The finale performances showcased the final contenders' skill and charisma before the voting results determined who would move forward with KO1KEYZ. For the eliminated trainees who placed 13th through 22nd, including RICKEY, OSUKE, K.TAKUTO, and others, the competition concluded without debut placement—though several earned strong positioning throughout the show's run.

With its debut confirmed, KO1KEYZ joins a legacy of globally-minded K-pop adjacent groups that have successfully bridged Japanese and Korean entertainment markets through the PRODUCE franchise model.
