MAZZEL Returns with Season 2 of Variety Show 'DUO MISSION'
MAZZEL's documentary variety show 'MAZZEL DUO MISSION' kicks off its second season on FOD Premium starting June 22. The new format has pairs tackling missions while the full group watches from the studio.

MAZZEL is back with a fresh season of their variety show 'MAZZEL DUO MISSION,' premiering June 22 on FOD Premium. The eight-member dance and vocal group will continue challenging themselves through creative missions, but season 2 brings a new twist to the format.
Unlike season 1, where all eight members participated in various activities, the new structure focuses on strengthening bonds between specific pairs. Each episode features one duo taking on a mission while the remaining six members watch and react from the studio. This gives the group's chemistry time to shine while building camaraderie within smaller units.
For the premiere episode, SEITO and EIKI will tackle horseback riding, while NAOYA and HAYATO take on a pastry chef mission. Season 1 saw the group push themselves with diverse challenges including voice acting, taiko drumming, archery, and ballroom dancing, so viewers can expect similarly creative and demanding tasks ahead.
MAZZEL formed under BMSG, the label headed by SKY-HI, alongside Universal Music's "BE-U" label. The group debuted in May 2023 with eight members—RAN, SEITO, KAIRYU from BMSG training, plus NAOYA, RYUKI, TAKUTO, HAYATO, and EIKI selected through public auditions. They've since released singles "Vivid" and "Carnival," and performed at major festivals like Summer Sonic.
The variety show has become a key way for MAZZEL to connect with fans beyond music, showcasing their personalities and willingness to step outside comfort zones. Fans interested in seeing how the group handles these new challenges can catch the premiere on FOD Premium this weekend.
