METROPOLITAN ROCK FESTIVAL 2026 has announced its fourth wave of performing artists, adding more names to what's shaping up to be another strong year for the annual rock festival.

The latest announcement includes Alexandria, T.M.Revolution, Novel Core, Kroi, Chirinuruowaka, NEE, and muque among the newly confirmed acts. These artists join the growing roster for the festival, which will take place across two weekends and two cities.

The Tokyo dates are set for May 16-17 at Umi no Mori Park, while the Osaka shows will follow on May 30-31 at Umi to no Fureai Hiroba. This dual-city format has become a signature of METROCK, allowing fans from different regions to catch the festival.

For international fans, T.M.Revolution stands out as one of Japan's most recognizable rock acts, with Takanori Nishikawa's high-energy performances and anime theme song contributions making him a household name. Meanwhile, artists like Kroi represent the newer generation of Japanese rock, bringing fresh sounds to the festival's diverse lineup.

With multiple announcement waves still likely to come, METROCK 2026 is building anticipation for what could be one of the year's most comprehensive Japanese rock festivals. The festival has consistently attracted both established acts and rising stars, making it a key event for discovering new music alongside seeing veteran performers.

Ticket information and additional artist announcements are expected to follow in the coming months as the festival organizers continue building the complete lineup for both cities.
